This SRAM XX Eagle Transmission AXS groupset, designed for an electronic, wireless 1x12 drivetrain on mountain bikes, comes with a power meter axle for measuring your pedaling power. You get a power meter crankset, an electronically actuated rear derailleur with AXS controller, a cassette, and a chain, all from the XX series built for all-mountain trails and enduro race tracks.

One of the standout features of the Eagle Transmission is its hanger-free mounting: the electronically actuated rear derailleur attaches directly in place of the UDH universal derailleur hanger. As a result, this groupset can only be used on frames equipped with this hanger. Direct mounting delivers precise, tolerance-free derailleur alignment and an unprecedented harmony between derailleur and cassette. No limit or barrel adjustment screws are needed. The derailleur is also built to be extremely rugged, easily shrugging off impacts from any direction so you can keep riding after a crash without issue. Thanks to the so-called Magic Wheel, the lower pulley wheel, the chain simply keeps running even if a branch or similar obstacle gets caught in it. The accompanying AXS Pod Ultimate controller can be mounted on either the left or right side, as you prefer.

The XS-1297 cassette has one aluminum sprocket and eleven steel sprockets, and with a 10-52 tooth range it offers wide gearing whose steps have been optimized compared with standard Eagle cassettes. The X-SYNC design delivers outstanding shifting performance, especially under full load. Thanks to so-called cassette mapping, shifts take place along dedicated shift ramps, making the process exceptionally smooth. The power meter crankset is light and stiff thanks to its carbon arms with a foam core. It houses a single-sided power meter spindle accurate to just +/- 3%, and carries a direct-mount chainring with 32 teeth. Like the cassette sprockets and derailleur pulleys, this chainring is precisely matched to T-Type chains. The XX chain has a distinctive Flattop design reminiscent of road chains, but purpose-built for Eagle Transmission. It is especially durable, featuring a hard-chrome finish and weight-saving hollow pins.

A battery for the derailleur and a charger are included. Use the complete groupset together with the AXS app to set it up, fine-tune shifting behavior, and make or review further settings.
