This SRAM X0 Eagle Transmission AXS groupset delivers the main components for a rugged, electronic, wireless 1x12-speed drivetrain on an e-MTB with a Bosch motor unit. You get two crank arms, a chainring, an electronically actuated rear derailleur with AXS controller, a cassette, and a chain, all from the durability-focused X0 series for enduro, all-mountain, and cross-country use.

One special feature of the Eagle Transmission is that the electronically actuated rear derailleur mounts without a derailleur hanger, attaching in place of the UDH universal derailleur hanger. This groupset can therefore only be used on frames fitted with this hanger. Direct mounting results in precise, tolerance-free derailleur alignment and an unprecedented harmony between derailleur and cassette. No limit or barrel-adjuster screws are needed. The derailleur is also built to be extremely tough, easily shrugging off impacts from any direction so you can keep riding after a crash without a problem. The accompanying AXS Pod Ultimate controller can be mounted on the left or right, as you prefer.

The XS-1295 cassette is nickel-plated to improve its service life. It has one aluminum and eleven steel sprockets and offers a wide 10-52 tooth range, with gear steps optimized compared to earlier Eagle cassettes. The X-SYNC design delivers outstanding shifting performance, especially under full load. Thanks to so-called cassette mapping, shifts take place along dedicated shift ramps, making the process exceptionally smooth. The crank arms are made of sturdy aluminum. Like the cassette sprockets and derailleur pulleys, the 36-tooth chainring is precisely matched to T-Type chains. The X0 chain has a distinctive flattop design reminiscent of road chains but engineered specifically for Eagle Transmission. It scores points for durability thanks to solid pins and a corrosion-resistant PVD coating.

A battery for the rear derailleur and a charger are included. Use the complete groupset together with the AXS app to set it up, fine-tune shifting behavior, and view and adjust further settings.
