This Ultimate-level RockShox SIDLuxe air shock offers 3-position compression adjustment via a lever on the shock itself and is aimed at cross-country racers. It's built above all for speed. The Solo Air spring gives it a rather linear spring curve. Alongside the proven "Open" setting for high-speed descents and "Lock" for drivetrain-efficient sprints, the third position, "Pedal," gives you the sweet spot in between for technical climbs, where you need both forward drive and comfort. Thanks to increased oil flow, high-speed compression (in the Open and Pedal positions) reacts especially quickly to sudden hits. As a result, the bottom-out bumper is also larger and tapered, so you stay in control at the end of the travel.
