Optimized in the wind tunnel
The development of the 42|49 made extensive use of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and wind tunnel testing. This not only looks at theoretical performance but especially at the airflow experienced by the rider in practice. Light and incredibly strong
The rims are developed in Reserve's composite lab in Santa Cruz, California. Here, every detail is perfected: from the carbon lay-up to a unique testing protocol that simulates real impact and spoke loads.
