Mavic CXR-Exalith 2 replacement pad inserts for road caliper brakes. These inserts slide into a compatible cartridge brake shoe: only the worn part is replaced, while the holder and its adjustment stay in place. Refit the retaining pin or screw.
Compound designed for Exalith-treated aluminium rims. Not for use on carbon rims. Compatibility: Shimano, SRAM, Mavic (HG, M), Campagnolo (ED). When fitting, align the pad with the braking surface, clear of the tyre, with slight toe-in to prevent squealing. Check wear regularly using the grooves and keep the rim clean.
