Kool-Stop Cartridge R1 V-Brake Carbide replacement pad inserts for V-brakes and cantilever brakes. These inserts slide into a compatible cartridge brake shoe: only the worn part is replaced, while the holder and its adjustment stay in place. Refit the retaining pin or screw.
When fitting, align the pad with the braking surface, clear of the tyre, with slight toe-in to prevent squealing. Check wear regularly using the grooves and keep the rim clean.
Contents: 1 pair. Weight: 12 g.
