The DT Swiss R 232 ONE Trunnion Remote-ready shock with Trunnion mount
Built for frames with a Trunnion mount, the DT Swiss R232 ONE shock can be connected to the Two-in-One Remote lever. That means you only need a single control lever for both shock and fork, keeping your cockpit especially clean. The shock can be adjusted across three settings, so you can choose the right one for every riding situation. On downhill sections, OPEN mode gives you maximum damping and maximum traction. DRIVE mode allows enough damping to absorb bumps while still giving you good forward drive. Thanks to the LineAir suspension system, traction here increases linearly, resulting in calm, composed handling. In LOCK mode, you convert your power into speed as efficiently as possible, since there is practically no damping in this setting.

Control damping system:
The damping, or compression speed, can be adapted to each riding situation. This is done in three stages: OPEN, DRIVE, and LOCK.
In OPEN mode, the shock responds finely to every bump in the terrain. It is therefore best suited to descents. It can be individually adjusted across 13 fine increments to match rider weight and tire pressure.
DRIVE mode responds to larger bumps while allowing almost no energy loss through damping otherwise. This setting is therefore recommended for technical sections and light climbs.
In LOCK mode, the shock becomes rigid, allowing pedaling force to be converted efficiently into forward drive, since no energy is lost.
The three compression settings are adjusted via oil channels that open to different degrees, allowing for varying amounts of damping. In LOCK mode, the oil channels are fully closed to prevent damage from hard impacts; in that case, a blow-off valve opens automatically.
Line
Air suspension system:
A low breakaway force allows for early traction. Traction then increases linearly through the mid-stroke and reaches a steep progressive rise at the end of the stroke, allowing for strong compression without bottoming out. This is achieved through an air-spring system in which, at full extension, the negative air chamber holds higher pressure than the positive air chamber.
